The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
